Coastal Research and Planning Institute is a research and education unit within Klaipëda University. It focuses on fundamental and applied scientific research as well as supports PhD studies.

Main theme of the Institute scientific activity is “Interdisciplinary research for sustainable coastal zone management”.

It includes:

  • analysis and forecast of the changes in marine environment;
  • development of the scientific background for sustainable management of coastal resources.
